Our Offering Reclaim birth work with The Better Birth Worker—a training that honors Afro-Indigenous traditions while equipping you with up-to-date, evidence-based knowledge to support birth in any setting, even the car! This six-week immersive training goes beyond the basics, preparing you to hold space for every birth scenario—homebirth, VBAC, birth center, gentle cesareans, emergent births, loss support, and everything in between. With over 36 hours of live instruction, a comprehensive student library, and lifetime mentorship, you will be grounded in both ancestral wisdom and modern research, learning traditional womb wellness practices such as belly binding, herbal support, and woven wrap techniques. You’ll gain hands-on intuitive skills, developing the ability to listen before you act, observe before you move, and trust before you touch—because true support comes from deep knowing, not just what the hands can do. And in the rare but real instance that wise and skilled hands are needed, you’ll have the knowledge of bodywork and positional skills to support the progression of a safe, healthy labor without unnecessarily manipulating birth. Your clients will thrive throughout their postpartum with your guidance, this deeply sacred time is overlooked all too often and families suffer unnecessarily as a result. This training will not only prepare you to be a doula but to build a sustainable practice, ensuring that birth work is not just a calling, but a career that nourishes you as you nourish others.
